About the internship

We are offering a 3-Month Part-Time Internship (16 hours per week) in a fully remote setting, with a monthly stipend of PKR 30,000.

This is a remote internship role for a Data Analyst and Agent AI Intern. The intern will be responsible for performing data analysis, developing statistical and data models, and analyzing datasets to uncover insightful patterns and trends. Weekly tasks will also include preparing reports and dashboards, collaborating with teams to implement data-driven solutions, and contributing to the development of AI and machine learning agents specific to the organization’s research objectives.

As a Data Analyst Intern, you will work closely with research supervisors and project teams to design and implement data-driven models, forecasting frameworks, and analytical reports. You will assist in translating research questions and data requirements into structured analytical solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

• Data cleaning, preprocessing, and exploratory data analysis
• Building statistical and machine learning models
• Time-series forecasting and scenario-based analysis (project dependent)
• Implementing research methodologies from published studies
• Preparing technical documentation and structured research reports
• Presenting insights and recommendations to the team

This role provides broad exposure to applied research workflows and the opportunity to contribute to projects that may lead to a formal research publication for outstanding performance.

About you

• Studies in relevant fields such as Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related discipline
• Solid understanding of Statistics and Data Modeling concepts
• Proficiency in SQL and/or at least one analytical tool (R, Python, or SPSS)
• Excellent Communication skills to effectively interpret and present data insights
• Familiarity with machine learning approaches, tools, and frameworks is a plus
• Familiarity with data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is an advantage
• Confidence in explaining analytical concepts to non-technical audiences
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply

• Preference for candidates during semester break or recently graduated individuals able to dedicate focused time
